Before I will talk about next evens I will give you for information about a duty and liability of back stage, first. So as the duty that Social team must to do. Organizer (we) separated line responsibility for staff in parts of Back stage and front stage.

Even manager who recipe the concept form sponsor and think the theme, tell propose to another part to do as who created. Most EV. (Even manager) Deal to other teams; TAS, food, …
Stage Manager is the manager of organizes of each even. Who can control and fix the problem when back stage-front met a problem by his order, suddenly. So SM. (Stage manager) can go, pass anywhere in the even for look, order that easy to connect another part follow as agenda. SM. is the rider’s of every even.
Backstage left-right have a duty to security and control everybody who gets in-out between backstage and front stage that passed the doors. “Why backstage need to control which…” because while the even proceeding backstage is very busy; every show, MC, delegates were standby behind the stage also BS. (Backstage) have a duty to allow who come in and out no the stage follow action plan. So they need to stand at backstage only.
Key man is the caretaker who being the show, MC, delegate, ect to backstage, takes care them, and need to know anything about them. Such as “Key man MC” you need to know anything to MC “What they name…” ”How much MC in those even…” “How many time that MC go no the stage…” ”What the scrip that MC prepare for the even…” “What the point that MC standby, go no the stage and go down” “What the dress style that MC wear in the even…” Most you need to prepare foods and drinks for them, brief agenda for them before start even, prepare microphone for them, being them to the backstage for standby before the real time… “Why Key man need to know anything that takes care…” Because SM. (Stage manager), BS. (Backstage) can not to take care everybody with throughout, can not know anything about them, and not enough time to any question from them. So we need to have Key man for connector between MC and stage manager. Before the real day Key man will tell anything that does know to SM., BS. for them to prepare dress suite, Microphone, … , too.
Key man doesn’t have mark to stay but key man must to follow who take care.
Cooperator likes the key man that cooperate who take care between SM. , BS. But Cooperator connects between other parts. So SM. can not look, connect other parts with throughout. Therefore we need to cooperator to connect, told, recipe order to us as action plan.
Cooperator has a duty to recipe order, news, and any word sent to other parts that Cooperator doesn’t have mark to stay but who stand by closer SM., first.
Decoration is the part for important that dose ordered from EM. , SM. as follow the theme.
Prop. Is the duty of labor who ordered from SM. such as Pre welcome even agenda this even have a MC. SM. set up Key man’s MC. next Key man ask MC. ” What they want to use…” MC need to use Microphone then key man tell to SM. to prepare Microphone for MC, final SM. order to Prop. search, find, prepare for MC in the even.
Light-Sound they will prepare, stand by before start even, so they have a duty in proceeding of even. We mark they stay front of stage because they easy to control light and sound for follow as the theme.

2007’s December. I had a chance to work in World Debate even at ABAC. I worked in Entertainment Team. We know in another name is “Social Team” And worked in PR Team, too. World Debate have an initial name is WS28.
In WS28 have a many line (in responsibility), many work (to do), and many people (to control)... That’s liabilities which have a separate in main team such as
1) Entertain team
2) TAS (Transport Airport and Security) team
3) Food team
4) Accommodation team.
Since 27 December 2007 - 5 January 2008, 15 day for works, 15 evens for Entertain team
to do. Entertain team have a duty for creative, prepare, set up, and control (Back stage) every evens after debater finish debate hours, delicates finish observe. All of thing for them to relax behind the race, learn to Thai culture by the show, admire ABAC with service, and agree in quality of ABAC by pleasantly warm, so we were host which was set up every night
Especially 8 even are the best in WS28, and Social need to do…

Everybody who members in social team have many different in experience, ability, and skills that made Social team to remarkable. Before start every evens, first we study and point every detail; we studied in structure at building is we use, we prepared every equipment, first we will set up, ect.
First’s night: Pre Welcome.
Date : December 27, 2007 Thursday.
Venue : ABAC Museum, Bangna campus
Food : hard coctail
Mood & Tone : Chill & Light
Theme : “It’s Pleasure”
Dress code : Semi formal
Background we had some delicate and debater came to Thailand before Grand Opening Day Cause we set up this even for pre welcome the guest after they touch down and went to ABAC with tried from travel.
Social team was assigned this even, too. Then we touch the theme, and the theme is “It’s Pleasure” because we want to the guest relaxing, chill out, and most for the ice-breaking. We have some activity for everyone to join. So, they will get closer and know each other more.
And we choose ABAC Museum, Bangna campus for the Venue because there near to the residence that we set up and Museum is perfect location for relax. Also we use in part of basketball behind of museum for set up the line food, too.
When we used theme in “Its pleasure” so we need to control mood and tone as same We would set up light for the guest relaxing. And mood we want the guest to chill out so there used the music band from school of music play… with jazz style out side the museum. But in part into the museum we invited Prof. who teaches music in school to solo piano in those there.
This even is pre welcome, so the guest not needs to wear formal suit. But staffs in this even need to wear formal suit; student suit because we want to create first impression to the guest.
In part of food we didn’t stick because most of them ate finish before arrive ABAC when they got in the airport. So set up food in hard cocktail
Pre welcome was start at 18.00 pm. The doors behind Pope John Pol. II museum were open and sore drink was serving. Some people step down some people just woke around. Musician started to play piano in the museum. (Before this time we prepare a music instrument sound check and deal to musician, really) Then the time is near at 19.00 pm. We deal the musician in music band all really on stage out side at basketball court behind the museum.
At 19.00 pm. We guess most the people came to even finish. Then we appoint MC to spoke opening the even pre welcome at stage behind museum. Next we started to open line food that we set up in the basketball court. While Musician who was plays piano stopping and AU music band on stage behind museum were stating. Because we want to move peoples who just look about in museum step out to front of stage at basketball court. The light in museum feat down, all the light out side the museum feat up and followed to the stage.
Until 19.00 pm. to 23.00 pm. We have some activity for ice-breaking, so we created game for them to played such as music chairs, dancing… with music band

23.00 pm. MC back to stage again and spoke closing even.
